Before you register
Read and follow this advice for a smoother registration process. This information is intended for distance education students preparing to register and attend classes.
Register as early as possible. Early registration improves the chances you’ll get the courses you need, and gives you plenty of time to prepare for distance education classes. Check the enrollment schedule to find the earliest dates and times you can register.
Always use the online class schedule. It is the most up-to-date version. If you selected classes from the printed schedule, double check them in the online schedule before you finalize your plans.
Review the requirements for distance education and for each class format. Verify that you can access the classes you want.
Consult an advisor early. Advisors in distance education or in your major department can help you select classes.
