Financial aid
Who is eligible?
Any student applying to U.H. or enrolled in U.H. distance education classes can apply for financial assistance. All relevant deadlines and requirements listed for regular students will also apply to you.
Based on your application, you may be eligible for aid from federal, state, and/or U.H. agencies.
You can apply for financial aid at the same time you apply for admission, or any time afterwards. Your financial aid application is separate and not considered in the decision to admit you to U.H.
Award packages for distance education
The financial aid process and award packages for distance education students are the same as for all other U.H. students.
Some financial aid packages include funds to cover books, distance education tapes/DVDs and other costs.
How do I apply?
To apply for financial aid, you need to complete a Financial Aid Federal Services Application (F.A.F.S.A.). You can pick up a copy of the application from the Financial Aid office at U.H., request an application be mailed to you, or you can complete a F.A.F.S.A. online.
Completing your F.A.F.S.A. application online is the fastest way to complete the application process.
Visit the F.A.F.S.A. website: www.fafsa.ed.gov.
